Today was the first day I met Dr. Mcguire. I’ve been coming to this clinic for over 30 years. So yes, of course I was a bit nervous about seeing a new doctor. She was extremely professional and kind and gentle. I was very pleased with my visit. She explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions that I had. I would highly recommend her to anybody looking for a new doctor.

Dr. McGuire was so soothing and calming for me as I was nervous, she was kind, patient, listened to everything I had to say and asked lots of questions to understand me and my needs. I did not feel rushed, I would reccomend her to everyone.

I have been going to her for almost 2 years now. She was my OB for my first baby. Today at my appointment I asked how long she plans to work solely so I could make sure I have her for every kid! I couldn't be happier with Dr Kelly McGuire not to mention the rest of the staff including all of the front desk people who just do their jobs so so well. Having worked front desk in two different medical clinics I know that it is one of the single most difficult jobs and these guys do it like it's nothing it's amazing. Dr McGuire's nurse Sue Is one of the absolute best hands down, nurses I've ever ever received care from and that is a lot of nurses. I am very nervous for medical appointments just in general and from my first appointment Sue just made me feel right at home and super comfortable. Thank you so much Sue for being amazing at your job and all the many many different facets of said job You are such a goddess rock star! So are you front desk crew keep rocking it! And Dr McGuire I will hold a sold out stadium show in your honor because you have blown my mind with how receptive you've been to my needs and wants which is unfortunately quite rare for women in this situation.My appointment today was a pre-op appointment for a surgery I'm having next month and I had the pleasure of meeting with the patient surgical coordinator I believe; her name was Lindy and she covered all the bases and made sure that I didn't have any more questions and really put my mind at ease which put my heartbeat at ease in regards to this upcoming surgery I'm having.In summary all around; Dr McGuire with the Women's Health Associates her entire crew front desk, nursing staff, phlebotomists, The whole shebang deserves so much more than the stars I can give them and if you are in search of a doctor as a female please do not hesitate to reach out to the Women's Health Associates downtown Boise location You can check and see if Dr McGuire has any openings in her schedule but I can tell you that I sincerely believe everyone working there is just as absolutely awesome.Patient Submitted Review

I was incredibly nervous about this appointment because they are always awkward for one and due to some of my issues I was just worried. But Kelly was amazing she made me feel so incredibly comfortable and like we were friends but not in a weird way and a professional way so more like professional acquaintances. Honestly I would give her an infinite number of stars she has already addressed the issues and this was my very first appointment and that blows my mind given my history of not being able to get doctors to help me at all. The waiting room was very extremely clean well cared for an incredibly nice looking. All of the front desk staff was welcoming & kind. The nurses so far above top-notch! Thank you so much Lisa You are amazing! And getting to Dr Kelly McGuire... Could not in any way or in any conceivable way for that matter have ever found another OBGYN who is more perfect for me. She is such a wonderful human being and that is from one visit with her and it was my first obviously. She immediately addressed all of my concerns asked lots of questions I was seen right away no wait time at all. And she made me feel super comfortable and took away any kind of nervousness I had which was considerable given my experiences in the past. Amazing doctor, she has listened to my concerns and has mad me feel validated in my experiences. She listened to me. When a lot of other providers didnt- when I told her I was young and starting menopause, she didn't ignore me or dismiss me. When I told her my pain levels, the concerns I had, she listened to me not only with patience but with genuine kindness. Dr. McGuire is an excellent listener, provides several options, and I've never felt like she's pressured me to make the decision that she would prefer, like providers in the past have done. She gives education, and provides space for me to decide what is best for me. The support staff for WHA are amazing too. I've experienced OBGYN provider groups where the doctor may be great, but the schedulers, billers, front desk staff, etc. are terrible, and therefore the healthcare visits were not great. When I found out I was pregnant with my second after 9 years. I was concerned about finding another doctor who I loved. My last doctor moved practices. Kelly has already been nothing but amazing so far! What I look for in a doctor (specially an OB) is kindness, listens to my needs, is understanding, and gentle.
