Megan Kitterman, CNM
Megan Kitterman, CNM, has been a Certified Nurse-Midwife since 2018 and has attended over 1,000 births. She provides compassionate, individualized care to women and families, attending births at St. Luke’s Boise and specializing in infertility management. Guided by the belief that birth is a profoundly transformative experience, Megan is committed to creating a respectful, empowering environment for every woman she serves. She strongly supports informed consent and shared decision-making, ensuring her patients feel truly heard, supported, and in control of their care. Whether helping couples navigate fertility challenges or welcoming new life into the world, she brings both skill and heart to every interaction—often delighting in helping partners catch their babies and be fully part of the birth experience.
Megan’s own journey into midwifery was deeply inspired by the births of her two children, which sparked her enduring passion for supporting others through this powerful chapter of life. Outside of her practice, she enjoys the quiet rhythms of family life—spending her free time traveling, exploring thrift shops, and savoring moments with loved ones. Rooted in both professional expertise and personal experience, Megan’s approach to midwifery blends evidence-based care with holistic respect for each woman’s unique path to motherhood.
