I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA. My first sign of interest in the medical field was noted in the 1st grade when asked the traditional question “what do you want to do when you grow up”, I answered “a nurse”. Throughout my teenage years I was often found working in medical offices from filing charts to transporting patients in the hospitals. I attended St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My nursing career immediately began in Labor and Delivery and continued for 10 years working in Northern and Southern California, Arizona and Boise, ID. I wanted to expand that connection beyond the delivery room experience therefore I went on to achieve my Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree. I have been caring for Treasure Valley women as a Nurse Practitioner since 2004 and continue to enjoy my dream career today. I enjoy caring for all ages of women with a special interest in teenagers. When away from the office you can find my husband and I rafting the beautiful rivers of Idaho, out at the baseball fields watching our son play or walking the greens watching our daughter drive the golf ball.
