Eric S. Donahue, MD

Eric S. Donahue, M.D. is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician and a designated Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is an Idaho native and graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine.

In addition to general practice and primary care for adolescents and adults, Dr. Donahue has spent his career specializing in the care of the acute and critically ill as a Hospitalist, currently serving within the St. Luke’s Health System. He has extensive experience with geriatrics, palliative and end of life care. He is an Extensivist for complex patients, post hospital discharge management and perioperative care. He is an active educator for medical students and resident physicians.

Dr. Donahue emphasizes empirical, guideline-based allopathic medicine, while accounting for quality of life and personal preference. He works collaboratively with specialty experts to advocate and assure the highest quality outcomes.
